When it's your turn to post on our blog...

If you're in our class...read on. If you're not in our class, this post will bore you. May I suggest reading a post from one of our class members?

Assignment instructions: Post on our classroom blog
After the first few weeks of class, each student will take a turn posting in our class blog. Look in d2l Content / blog info for instructions on how to post.

Requirements: Your class blog post is expected to be 1000 words long, with multiple legal images and links and at least one embedded video. Any readings you cannot link publicly to in their entirety must be cited with full APA citations. (Do not upload them to the web yourself, however.)

Topic: You can write an indepth analysis of two or more of our class readings. Or you can describe your experiences with offline and online collaboration using at least two cited class texts.

Tone: Your tone should be like a professional blogger, writing in your own style about something you are passionate about. You must use good English but you don't need to be formal; use of "I", talk of your emotions, and contractions are all ok.

Ideally this post should flow. If you feel uncomfortable writing outside of the typical essay style, this post can look like an essay - as long as it meets all other requirements. But feel free to break out of that essay style if you can!

Good luck! And do your best. Not only is this grades; students will vote for their favorite classmate blogs and blog posts at the end of the semester!

Post a comment below or in our course Q and A if you have questions.
