Late 90s and 2000s Activities/Toys

In class we began talking about the toys that we use to play with when we were kids. Insanely I had never talked about the toys that I use to play with. Most of the toys we got was from Toys r Us . I'd like to think my generation was last one that got to physically play with toys. Kids today have iPads as toys and iPhones by the time they are 6 years old. I played with tech-decks, GI Joe soldiers, rock-em-sock-em and various other toys. I would also go outside and play tag, football in the street, hide n seek, and have foot races also. That is what I did as a kid. We also talked about how it was different if you were a female or male. Most females had chia pets, build a bear, and barbie dolls. The discussion we had was what toys we played with as kids and how they differed by gender.
